The Senior's Guide Online: Bringing Information to Seniors
About the Site

Introduction

Before I introduce myself I'd like to tell you why I wrote The Senior's Guide to Easy Computing and created this Web site. I wrote the first Senior’s Guide book because my 86 year old father-in-law explained to me that older people have special challenges regarding learning. There wasn't anything on the market to help him conquer his new computer. There were hundreds of computer books out there, but none of them were written in large print and limited to the basics. And none of them were user friendly with a warm, personal feel.

Because of your fantastic response to the computer book, I developed a series of similar books on requested topics. Along the way, I found working with seniors to be extremely rewarding. This led me to strive to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors by providing information and services to enrich their lives as their evolving needs and lifestyles change.
